  • I am in the process of choosing between Joomla and WordPress – I am in Bus Dev and not a seasoned developer by any stretch of the imagination. Would like to create or rather re-build our current 5 websites with one of these tools. Seems the big issue here is what may be called a catalogue. By that I mean, most of our website pages are fairly static with 3 of them – New Golf Cars – Used Golf Cars – Custom Golf Cars require us to constantly update on a daily or weekly basis. Not sure if catalogue is the correct wording here. I envision something like this – open up the Used Car page and you see a set of thumbnails of, say 10 cars with 1 or 2 line description. If the viewer wants more information on that vehicle, they click on it and it opens up a new page with possibly additional photos with a more detailed description. Pricing would be listed on both the thumbnail and the detail page. There would be a button stating ‘Inquire About This Car’ and the user would be sent to a page allowing their comments along with vehicle info and an email is set to us so we can respond. This description is NOT necessarily etched in stone and any type of page that does what we need is fine with us. Can WordPress handle something like this?
