   I installed 2.8 this morning, it's great.
   I'm wondering why when I do the <?php bloginfo('version'); ?> it shows up as "abc" not "2.8"

   I've had this issue for awhile, I first noticed it in the 2.0 Version.

   If you are using WordPress Security Scan Plugin, disabling it will restore the actual version number.

   Thanks didn't know that this was a feature of this plugin!
