WordPress Upgrade Problems

I apologize if this has been rehashed before, I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking for and the search function didn’t seem to provide what I needed.

But I logged into wordpress and was told I had to upgrade, did so and it doesn’t seem to be sticking. Everytime I log in again it asks me to do this again.

On top of that my PHkTrack ceases to exist and once I try to click to that page it resets my Incoming Links on the Dashboard to list none.

Additionally I now can’t upload a single photo…

Is this a wordpress upgrade issue? Do I need to change some settings? Thoughts would be appreciated.
