    Hi,

There appears to be an issue with your server that is causing the Javascript files to fail.

    For example: http://stunglive.com/cgi/wp/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.11.0

Since all of the JS files are failing to load, that is causing anything relying on JS (like sliders) to fail.

The one thing I note is that you’re running WordPress out of the cgi folder, which suggests to me that perhaps your server is trying to execute these files as CGI scripts?

I’m having the same problem on this site.

Not sure if I should start a new thread or not….. This started just recently and I’m not sure when the problem started. If it was after an update or not. It was brought to my attention by the client. I’m using Graphene Theme and WP 3.9.1

Your slider is working for me.

I’d try with all other plugins deactivated and using a default theme, if it starts working, then one of those plugins or your theme is to blame. If you’re still having issues and have it isolated to Jetpack, please do start a new thread.

    Thanks!

@brandon, I found the problem. I had installed a File Upload Plugin and it defaults to the Uploads Folder. I changed the name to something else. I wasn’t thinking that that this where the pics are uploaded. So changing the name back to Uploads and the new Folder Uploads1 fixed the problem.

    Thank you

Sorry to take so long. I called the server 3 times and they said they would have it fixed in 24 hours. Obviously that didn’t work. I see that i did install it in a cgi file however have no idea why i would have done that. I didn’t on any of the other sites. Anyway is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling everything?

It’s something with the server. Possibly ask your host to confirm that only .cgi or .pl files are being executed by the CGI parser? Or generally ensure that .js files aren’t executable (you could likely change this yourself via a file manager).

If you can believe it the owner of the site didn’t pay the bill and they wouldn’t tell me that until the 5th call that they were blocking it because of that.

Thanks you so much for sticking in there with me.

Oh man. That is incredible frustrating! Glad you found the root of the problem!
