The new update screwed up my WordPress... When I am going to write a post, I don´t have a toolbar any more! There is only one button: for upload/insert. The text is not even in black, but white, and the pictures also just shows up as white (invisible) text. The HTML version seems to be ok, but I need to work in the Visual version!!! What can I do?

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I have tried to deactivate all the plugins but it didn´t help. I´m afraid of changing the theme because I´ve done a lot of HTML modifying that I´m afraid to lose.

Is there any way I can activate the old WordPress version again? I can´t post anything now, it´s driving me crazy.. :(

When you switch to another theme, you don't lose anything and you can always switch back.

If you are concerned about it, make a full backup before you proceed.

That way if you get into trouble you an just put it back the way it was.

My tool bar issue is NOT as a result of the recent update, I've had this problem since the last update. I had done everything I was told to do short of uploading a new theme. For some unknown reason, my website/hosting company won't allow uploading a new theme.

I'm now in the process of finding someone who know Supreme Center 100 and Word Press to help update the blogs.

    Any other suggestions?
