    I am trying to upload to wordpress here is my CSS:

    /*
    Theme Name: Health Brown
    Theme URI: http://www.iHealthMarket.com
    Description: A 3 column health theme in brown, orange and black colors and with 2 widgetready sidebars on each side.
    Author: iHealthMarket
    Version: 1.2.0
    License: GNU General Public License, v3 (or newer)
    License URI: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html
    Tags: fixed-width, three-columns, black, orange
    */

    Here is the error it returns when uploading to authors area:

    Version strings can only contain numberic and period characters (like 1.2). Please fix your Version: line in style.css and upload your theme again.

    My strings clearly contain numberic and period characters.

    Any ideas?

    What happens if you just remove the Version line and then upload?

    Aha! I solved mine: I hade typed "Only in premium version:" in the description and the system thinks that this is where the version number should be. I simply used other words and now it passed the scanning. :)
