   I have a site (coolinsummer.com) which had about 30 posts and 5 pages.

   I went to edit the names of some posts, using the "Quick Edit" feature. Once I had edited a handful, I pressed the "Refresh" button.

   That's when the issues started. ALL posts and ALL Pages were completely deleted. And whenever I try to create a post I get the message:

   "Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again."

   I've requested a backup restore from my host but have NO idea how this happened and what the issue could be. Obviously I want to avoid it happening again!

   Anyone know about this type of issue? Is it some type of WordPress glitch?

   This also happened to me a couple of times while I was developing a WordPress site on my local computer. Pages, posts, and also media files (!) disappeared. Just like that.

   I found a handful of threads on the forums of people having this same issue. Some suggested it could be a misconfiguration of the server, while others fingered the plugins.

   I couldn't yet find the exact reason as to why this does happen. My posts table does not have the data anymore. I've tried the check/repair database tables via phpMyAdmin but to no avail.

   Pulling my hair trying to figure out what the heck!

   wrylilt, seeing as your original post is 10 months old (and other threads on the matter are all closed), have you ever found a satisfying answer?
