We use WordPress as a compliment to our retail site and until about three weeks ago you could just click on the news link on our site and access our WordPress. I would really appreciate any inout I could get.
The admin side works fine, I have read posts about about potential hacking and bad plugins. I have scanned several pages of code and I can not find any evidence of hacking, the data base is on and the tables seam clean. I was wondering if I should upgrade to 3.1 from the 2.8 version. The only plugins I am running is the Akismet and the Hello Dolly. I did note there is no .htaccess file in the blog root but shouldnt need one with a index.php file there.
The server is a redhat hosted by rackspace.
any help would be very much appreciated.

all I get is the domain/plesk default page
do you have a host default.html or index.html in there?
if so, delete them so the wp index.php can work

Wow. That seems to be all it was.
Rackspace must have wrote a recent script to put that into our directories.
Now I'm gonna have to figure out where they are all residing. We have a lot of redirects that could effect.
Thank You very much.
