WordPress Stats Show No Activity

I’ve already asked this on wordpress.com but they sent me here…
I created an offsite wordpress blog and installed WordPress stats plugin.
However the stats don’t show any activity which seems impossible…

I followed installation instructions, the plugin is activated.. I even tried to “Add a user” which proved to be totally unnecessary considering that I am using the same e-mail address for both blogs..
My theme does have <?php wp_footer(); ?> at the bottom, before the </body>
…

Also, counterize are not working properly,

On Dashboard
Counterize II Status »
Total: 372 hits and 88 unique.
Today: 25 hits and 7 unique.
Currently: 3 users online.

Though, when I click on » , I get this message
Cannot load counterize/counterize.php.

On Manage/Counterize, only Hit Counter and Latest entries seem to show records.

Any ideas as to what I can do to get the stats to work?
