WordPress Stats and API Key

I have taken over the management of my church’s website. The previous person who did the site used their API for wordpress stats and removed the key before I took it over.

I am trying to use MY API for the site now, and it doesn’t work. I get the error:

Error from last API Key attempt:

The owner of that API Key (XXXXXXXXXX) is not on the access list for this blog (XXXXXXX). To be added to the access list, you must contact support.

Can you please help me somehow get access to WordPress Stats? It would be very helpful. I am already using MY API key for Askimet.

Because I DO NOT know the previous person’s API key, nor do I have their password, none of the solutions in the database have worked.
