Greetings all-
My site was up and running fine. Things looked beautiful. Then we did the update to WP 3.1.1 and blamo all of our beauty went away and everything was revered back to the original theme. We had a WP developer create the site for us and all was well. He is now gone and away and I don't know enough about WP to fix it myself. Any assistance would be great!

did the WP developer edit the twentyten theme directly? If so then all the changes are lost. You'll have to restore the theme from a backup (hope you have one).
Create a child theme so you don't lose all the changes next time.

Posted 1 year ago #No, there is no backup per say... But he still has the site up on his domain that I can access the admin portion of. should I just go in there and copy all the stuff over and then follow the child theme directions to ensure things don't break again?

you need the theme files, which will be in the wp-content/themes/ folder.
The exact folder it's in will depend on the name of the theme. If you can get hold of that, then copy the files over and follow the child theme directions.
