Im completely new to WordPress. I've installed WordPress 3.1.3 on Host Gator. Changes I make from within the WP admin (such as widgets, sharing,etc.) dont seem to apply to my website.
Does it typically take time for changes to appear? If so, how long does it take? and can i avoid this? However, i was able to successfully change the background and header. Any help or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Are you using any caching plugins? Did you remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

WP Super Cache is enabled by default. Should i disable it? I will be running a blog updates several times a day.
