We are currently considering moving our WordPress site to Earthlink due to performance issues with our current hosting company. We have had good success with Earthlink in the past - only have never hosted a WordPress site there. I didn't get many warm-fuzzies from the Earthlink Tech on how they do with WordPress sites when I called. Does anyone have experience (good or bad) in using a basic Earthlink hosting package for a WordPress site (ours has e-Commerce as well). Thanks.
I would stay away from Earthlink, they're an ancient company.
I would go with someone like HostGator or Storm on Demand instead.
Earthlink still limits the number of email addresses you can have, that's a sure sign of someone not staying up with the times.
I run WordPress sites on both Bluehost.com and Site5.com, and both hosts handle them just fine. I've been with Bluehost for years and have been very happy with them. I've only been using Site5 for about 6 months, but so far I've been impressed by their service and support.
