   hi there...i have a domain and host with godaddy, ive uploaded wordpress on the root folder but not as \root\worpdress\wordpress content , just on \root\wordpress content(wp-admin,wp-content..etc, but it shows up just like text not images or something else. than i uploaded on \root\worpdress\wordpress content, it works but if i want to visit my website i need to type http://areafreak.com/wordpress/ and not just http://areafreak.com/ what have i done wrong ? how can i solve this problem? plz help a fellow

   Just follow this guide to move WordPress back to your web root directory:

   resolved...thx very much james :* so i've done like this:
   1)loged in to dashboard >settings>general
   2)i have replaced the url's (in my case http://areafreak.com/wordpress/ )
   with the main url (http://areafreak.com/), and clicked save. very importand that you do these step before moving the files.
   3) now after pressing save, wordpress wont function normaly until you move all the wordpress files into the Root directory(in my case, wp-admin didnt move into the root so i right clicked on the folder and set permission to 777, then it moved. Do this ith other files that dont moove)
   4)now you may delete the empty wordpress folder and type your main website url into the browser and Voilà....
