Thank you for the link. I have just contacted my host to enquire about adding a php.ini file. I can’t seem to find one that is already installed and am not able to install one from C-Panel in the Software/Services section under PHP Configuration.
The host told me that I cannot access the php.ini file because it is restricted and I can only use the htaccess file to resolve the problem. How? I don’t know. I tried to add (php_value memory_limit 64M) but it gave me an internal server error (500). Please can you help with another way using htaccess?
Thank you!
My host has indicated that I have 128 MB of memory on the shared server and I will need a VPS in order to get more memory – which costs more of course!
Oh dear, apparently the VPS does not have a mail server so I cannot use it. Does anyone have any other suggestions around this memory problem? I only have 128 MB to work with!
128 Mo is good enough to make the plugin work. You have to test with P3 how the other plugins are consuming.
And maybe you can search for another webhoster with 256 Mo memory. They do exist – you don’t need a VPS for this !
Help! Just updated the WP SE) plug-in to the latest version and now can’t access the admin. I’m getting the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare yoast_breadcrumb() (previously declared in /home/healthfo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/wpseo-functions.php:96) in /home/healthfo/public_html/wp-content/themes/inspire/includes/theme-plugins.php on line 270
Please tell me how to fix this!
You should have open another thread, Sladd56. Your theme is using a breadcrumb function interfering with Yoast SEO breadcrumb – read the error.
I apologize, I’m not a techie. Can you give me a hint as to how to resolve the issue?
You may ask the theme coder. The function is located in inspire/includes/theme-plugins.php line 270
Thank you. I’ll have to get some technical assistance to resolve this.
