just tried to search for something and i got no results.
tried searching for easy things, like css, image etc, nothing on support or docs.
Tried in firefox and ie7, both nothing...

It comes and it goes. Today is apparently a "go" day.
For the time being, I'd just use google. Prefix any search terms with "site:wordpress.org/support" and you should find stuff. :-)
