It looks like you might've played around with another Template creator functionality dreamhost offers..

I'd probably head into the file manager, delete all the files for that domain entirely (assuming it's a clean slate), and installing WordPress a fresh through the 1click install method.

Yes I did! I have no idea how to get rid of it, my intention was to create a coming soon page, only afterwards realising that wordpress have a widget for that!

I'll do as you say and let you know how it goes, thanks for your help!

So I think I've got rid of the holding page- it was an Instantpage at GoDaddy, says it take 24 hours to take effect.

So I should see WordPress after the 24 hours right?
    Thanks

In theory, yes. If that doesn't happen, contact GoDaddy for further assistance.

Ok- so I ended up changing my nameservers, but now I'm getting "Error establishing a database connection"

Can someone advise me what to do next?
    Thanks

This means your Database username/password/Hostname or Database Name in your wp-config.php file are wrong. You'll need to edit that file with a text editor (over FTP, or via your hosting control panel) to add the correct details.

The Database needs to already exist, You can add that via your hosting control panel as well.
