I'm having trouble getting the RSS widget in wordpress to read the feed output I'm generating through dlvr.it. Anyone have any ideas about this? The feed works fine if I click on it independently. And all the individual feeds that I'm aggregating are read by wordpress without a problem. I'm not understanding why it won't read the mashup feed I created in dlvr.it. I'm also running Buddypress.
The feed I'm trying to import is:
http://feeds.dlvr.it/e4eed3d928174ab38b640af59c490318.xml
Any help is much appreciated

I found the answer. In the Writing Settings, I had to enable the Atom Publishing Protocol under Remote Publishing. (The feed is valid).

Was the answer you refer to on dlvr.it or WordPress site? I am having a blogger site RSS Widget new content not showing up issue.

It was on the WordPress site. If blogger does not have this setting, I recommend exporting your dlvr.it to feedburner (or something similar) and then importing the feedburner to your blogger Widget. That's how I worked around the problem before I discovered the remote publishing setting in WordPress.

Thanks for your reply...turns out was just a bit to expecting it "now" and after doing the smart thing and waiting it showed up as expected.
Also to be clear for others searching. The goal was to have a Blogger RSS feed show up on a WordPress site. It had been working, but a new post didn't show right away. The easy fix was: patience.

Antonia, I enabled Atom, but I can't read two dlvr.it feeds I've tested. Was there anything else you needed to do besides enable Atom?

rpetty, no, I didn't do anything else besides enable that one setting to get the feed to display in the widget. It might not show up immediately, but if it never shows at all, you might want to use another reader just to double check there's no problem with the feed. Also, there is another protocol listed underneath the Atom protocol. Perhaps the service you're using requires the other one instead of Atom.

Thanks. The feed started working after several minutes.
