wordpress redirecting to pornsite (4 posts)

    my website is redirecting to a pornsite (xmedia.to) after approx 5sec on website. I dont know why? I can see it loads many weird sites before the xmedia site suddenly appears? Is any easy way to stop scripts running on my wordpress site?

    It sounds like you fell victim to a current hack that appears to be affecting all .php files (not just WordPress) under several popular shared hosting providers. Remain calm and carefully follow this guide:

    so you meen i just change passwords and backup the system?
    Is the problem my hosting or my own fault?

    There's a lot more to do than just that. Carefully follow the entire guide.

    It could be both. The problem is caused when an account has insecure file permissions. Files should be 644 and directories should be 755. Depending on the server's security, once one account has been compromised, all accounts on the same server may be at risk regardless of file permissions.
