    Yes wordpress can be used as a CMS many people do it very succesfully.

    WordPress is awesome! It can do ANYTHING! If you want a magic carpet to impress your girlfriend … Use WordPress! 😉
    okay… maybe that’s an exaggeration, but combining plugins and knowing a little bit of code you can do an awful lot with WordPress, just as Jeremy said.
