i cannot download it when i was trying to install wordpress via WPI. it kept on failing to install the required files and stuff…. i was looking forward to using this….

Are you trying to install WordPress locally? If so, have you had a look at installing WordPress locally?

If you look in the comments, they say stuff like:
“It’s an Microsoft issue… You need to install PHP and MySQL first, then WordPress.” (sic)

I’d put my money on using WPI to install WordPress as being a royal pain. You might be better off trying WAMP or XAMPP via esmi’s previous link.
