   Hello,

   I am using wordpress 3.0.4. Whenever we update any of our existing post, it crashes My SQL. The database initially becomes slow and eventually un-responsive.
   My site is hosted on godaddy dedicated server with 2 GB RAM. Along with wordpress, we are using Java application also. We have set 1 GB RAM for java application and 1 GB for wordpress. For sure, My SQL issue is being caused because of wordpress....we have close to 3000 wordpress pages..

   Earlier, we had hyper-cache pulgin installed and we thought thats causing the problem....but even after removing that plugin, the problem exists.

   Can any one assist me...many many thanks for the help..

   have you tried deactivating all plugins, and using the default theme twentyten ?
