How to install WordPress Plugins if your hosting provider do not allow you auto-update/install through FTP connection

Problem: I'M HAVING PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO WORDPRESS FTP, I'm HOSTED in awardspace, when I tried to add a plugin for WordPress I got following 2 error:

    1. "Warning: socket_last_error() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in /srv/disk1/pauls04/www/secureitsolution.co.cc/blog/wp-admin/includes/class-ftp-sockets.php on line 59"

    2. "Failed to connect to FTP Server secureitsolution.co.cc:21"

because they didn't allow connections for auto updates.

    Solution:

    1. Download the Plugin.
    2. Unzip it in your PC.
3 Upload the files to /wp-content/plugins/ of your site through FTP
    3. On your WordPress administration, choose Plugins.
    4. Scroll down to inactive plugins, find the Infolinks plugin, and click activate.

    BINGO_!!!!
