Hello - Just installed plugin on my blog (http://reasonandfolly.com/) and you can see in this example post (http://reasonandfolly.com/?p=115) the following has occurred:

    1. Facebook button does not work, seems to open a window but nothing more
    2. Pinterest button does not appear
    3. There is a Google+ button which I need to remove.
    4. If I use FB from within the orange share button, only a URL gets posted to my FB page, no image or title.

My objective if to have a minimal horizontal row on these functions only: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Email. How to I achieve that>

    Please advise! Thanks.

    R

@Niramaya: I just tried your site and the facebook button did work! Can you let me know more about it?
The button choice is decided by the addThis share algorithm depending upon the pattern of share made by the visitor. This is to increase the probability of sharing for your content.

FB uses meta tags to select what to be displayed in the shared content. You can make your site Facebook friendly by adding proper meta tags. Have a look at this, and let me know if you need further help. http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/articles/381222-optimize-facebook-sharing#.UMW9XpNeuZ8

    Hi!

    - The FB button does not result in an actual post on FB. I've tried it several times, nothing actually posts.

    - Re: algorithm: Odd because I personally don't use G+ (the button i see), and use Pinterest (the option i don't see). Is there a way to override this for myself and other visitors to the blog?

Re: the meta tag, where would I need to insert these?

FYI - I attempted to use the Custom Service List to override the algorithm by entering (facebook_like,twitter,pinterest,email) and it did not work.

Sorry for that! Custom Service list is having issues right now. We are working on that. Meta tag have to be inserted through the theme. Or you can refer this short article with sample code:http://www.wpcode.net/open-graph.html/

OG has been added to my page.

When do you expect the custom service issue to be resolved?

Sorry for the delay Niramaya. Custom Service list was removed previously and we are working to add it back. I will update you here when the new version is available.

    Thanks for the update.

As I pointed out earlier, the actual "preferred" algorithm is not working. I never use G+ yet I do see it as an option as opposed to Pinterest which I use regularly yet don't see.

Until the custom service list is fixed, could you pls advise on how I can code addthis tags directly into wordpress for Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest?

    Thanks!

@Niramaya: Awesome!! I would love to know how you did that, if you wish to share it.

I will check the other issue now. I am marking this one as resolved as the issue has been solved by you.

Okay, with custom code. We are working to make it even simple for you to customize the order. You can expect it in future release.
