• I am wondering if anyone out there has ever heard of, seen, or smelled :-), a wordpress plugin that will allow me to simply take a new table, insert it into my wordpress table, and then pull the information from the table into wordpress in some beautiful format? The table could be filled with ANY sort of information (i.e. quotes, video game information, dvd listings, etc..) and post that information across a specific section of wordpress pages in some nice form. The plugin I am looking for would inevitably turn a page into a separate section of the site that could be something all it’s own, almost like a separate entity.

  • Dear Dnyce…
I too am looking for a good database-type plugin for WordPress so I can actually generate intelegent pages on the fly from a database field/record file… To date I haven’t found what I need… I am currently manually generating tables with the WP-Table PlugIn you can find on the WordPress support pages, and it works for now, but is somewhat labor intensive… you can view the results by visiting my sites, http://www.excelnames.com and http://www.domainprojections.com, and looking at the “Domains for Sale’ pages… when I find an acceptable database model, I will generate by categories, etc… Please Advise if you find a workable database model… mgr at Excelnames.com

I too am looking for this type of plugin.

I have a database of businesses that I want to list via state > city > then a full page for that listing..

ExcelWP & dnyce this post here might be of some help but its a more manual approach which looks to be the way to go for now..
