    Hello,

I'm using the current version of the WordPress Plugin BackWPup (version 3.0.6). WordPress version: 3.5.1 in German. Provider's PHP version: 5.3.17.

During a backup, there has been a complete blackout of the whole website and the entire domain was not accessible.

The following message appearing when trying to access my domain:
"The server reset the website... please check the domain... it does not seem to exist..."

About 15 minutes after the completion of the backup, I was able to access the domain again.

The maintenance mode was not enabled (in case this is important).

This behavior during a backup is obviously fatal. Is this a known bug and what could be the cause?

    Thank you very much!

    Kind regards,
    Stephan

    Hello,

    i can't see a problem of BackWPup.
But think a backup creation needs many resurces. Ask your hoster if they looks down the site if a process takes to many recurces.

Thanks a lot for the tip. Another attempt to backup was successful and finished without problems. It was probably really an issue on the provider's side. Should similar problems occur again, I will investigate in that direction further. I have always been very satisfied with the program... and I still am right now.

    Thank you very much!
