   Hi,

   I read the description for: http://www.maxblogpress.com/plugins/mpo/
   

   It essentially says that WordPress pings too often and that most blogs are probably banned from ping servers.

   Is this information correct?
   If yes, should I use that plugin to fix the issue?
   And, are there other alternatives to fix the issue?

   Have you read the notes on the Plugin Page re. it? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/maxblogpress-ping-optimizer/

   I've not got it, but I don't tend to update my posts that often, which seems to be the issue.
