WordPress page shows the flat php code

    Hi

    I am a newbie at wordpress. I have been trying to make my wordpress site work since yesterday. Everytime I hit the link I get the flat php code on the webpage for somereason its not being parsed. I have checked wp-config.,.htaccess file, tried removing the plugins ,deactivating the themes. but no luck.

    Any ideas why would my php code not get parsed.? theres another wordpress folder inside the same location that works fine. I have tried deleting and uploading it over and again.

    NOTE: I am trying to copy the wordpress site from another server. I have done this before but never had this kind of problem. I have created a new db and set the connections and everything.

    Okay …So i guess something was wrong with my .htaccess file …But its still not working
    this is the error i get Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/72/8741972/html/lalaalu/index.php:16) in /home/content/72/8741972/html/lalaalu/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881.

    but i can only see this if i echo something in index.php file in the root.

    Please help :-s

    Andy did you ever find a solution to this error?
    I am seeing the same thing.

    PHP not parsed, just displays in the browser window like I’m looking at source code.
