WordPress or Tiny MCE Advanced adds nbsp tags (3 posts)

    The WordPress editor is adding NBSP tags before and after the markup of images each time I switch between the visual and html tabs or when I click the edit image icon on an image in the editor. My images has html5 tags around it with the hook image_send_to_editor. Could it be that this is caused because of html5 tags in the WordPress editor?

    I also tried deactivating the Tiny MCE Advanced plugin but with no luck...

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Inline elements if not wrapped in block elements are automatically wrapped in block elements from the editor. Is this your issue?

    No, the issue is the editor adds nbsp tags around the images when switching between visual and html mode or when clicking the edit image button.
