Hi,
I am running wordpress 2.6.2 on windows 2008
Can anyone tell me what the exact ntfs permissions should be on the wordpress folders in order to
- allow max functionality
(e.g. allow plugin updates from the admin pages, etc)
- maximize security
thanks
Hello, I am also trying to find this information.
Windows Server 2003 with newest wordpress 2.7.
I'm trying to find this info too. I'm using Windows Server 2008. I keep getting this error:
Unable to create directory C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wordpress\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
I know its a permission issue on the wp-content directory. I've tried everything I can think of for setting permissions on it with no luck!
Please HELP!

Yepp, I do. I gave Everyone write permission, and denied write permission to IIS_IUSRS. That made the thing work for me ;-))
