    Another workaround to try is to turn off file change notification in wincache by setting the following in php.ini file:

    wincache.fcndetect = Off

    I have just published a new development build of WinCache for PHP 5.3 with the fix for the wordpress plugin upgrade bug.

    Please install it from this location and let me know if the bug still repros or if it works for you:

    I'm reporting success with this latest build. Once I installed this, I updated an old plugin with no problems. Thank you for your support.

    Just tried this out, and everything seems to be working well, so far so good!

    Thanks a lot, while this isn't a showstopper, with all our plugins and their seemingly endless updates, it has been a bit tedious to have to upgrade them all manually. Going to enjoy this fix!
