    dont do that.

    1. bumping a post after an hour means your impatient. impatience doesnt bode well around here.

    2. its a weekend, AND its 1 in the morning. people sleep.

Im sure since its a new site, (your words, not mine), that this isnt a fricking emergency.

Sorry about that. The site we launched off is very popular and we've already received 20+ registrations that we've had to personally make their temporary password and e-mail it to them. So, yes, kind of an emergency.

there are 100's of posts, if not thousands, on here, that explain how to troubleshoot that, and what to do after youre done. SEARCH.

here is a clue, start by logging out, and then go through the "i forgot my password" routine. WP spits out a very informative message if that fails.

If it does, take THAT message and plug IT into the search box.

All it says is: Check your e-mail for the confirmation link.

    Then it does not come.

than its not a wp issue .. its an issue with your host. I say that because wordpress uses PHP's mail() function. Had that been the problem, it would have told you so.

Sometimes hosts require that you have an actual user account matching the "person" trying to send mail. The person, in this case, is wordpress.

So like I said, you search, try looking for issues with the hosting company, for example.
