   Here is my situation, I am running Ubuntu-Hardy and have set up Apache, PHP, MySQL, and added the database properly. I have transferred my WordPress files to the var/www folder.

   Now when I try to install WordPress by going to http://MyIpAddress/wp-admin/install.php, all i get is a blank white page. :S

   What did I miss? I really need an urgent help.

   Sorry, actually I need to access wordpress by typing http://myipaddress/wordpress

   But all i get is a 404 page not found error. Did I miss any Apache setting? My SQL and database are all set up properly.

   have you consulted with this? do you see anything at http://localhost/wordpress/
