    Hi all,

WordPress is installed in this directory: http://www.jkvirtualoffice.com/blog but it does not appear there when that address is typed into the browser. It only appears at http://www.jkvirtualoffice.com/blog/index.php. I am not able to log in to the backend and therefore cannot reach the options panel. I searched the codex but only found information for moving the blog to a different URL, and I'm not sure that's what I need to do. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Thanks!

Also, could this be related to the problems that others are having with accessing the admin area? when I click on admin.php in the index that shows up (why is that there, anyway??) the page is blank.

Thanks!! Any help is much appreciated!

Edit: But strangely enough, I am able to access the options section by clicking on the options-general.php file in this same index. How do I remove this index?

Something is stuffed on your site, its as if the apache server or php is not being parsed, with the links you suppplied its going and showing all your content files.

Is your apache server up and running?

Hmmm...I'm not sure. How do I find out?

Edit: When I go into Cpanel, there's a section called Apache handlers and .php is not listed as an extension. Does that help at all?

Does anyone have any ideas on this? I'm afraid to mess with the Apache handlers stuff because I really don't know much about it.

I checked all over Cpanel and I can't find any reason why the index comes up instead of the blog.

    Thanks!

Edit: To solve this immediately, I just set up a redirect for jkvirtualoffice.com/blog to redirect to jkvirtualoffice.com/blog.index.php. Are there any negative effects for doing this??
