WordPress not accessible after installing htaccess control plugin (3 posts)

Because I always want www be removed from my domain, I installed wp htaccess control, changed some settings and saved. After this, my installation is not accessible anymore. I tried deleting (renaming) my htaccess and visiting the permalinks section, but that did not work. (it doesn't reach the permalink section anyway, since I cannot access my dashboard anymore).

It seems there is still some redirection magic going on somewhere, since it appends www to the url when I type it in without and redirects me to http://www.domain.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%domain.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 when I try to login to domain.com/wp-admin. Even when htaccess is removed/renamed.

How can I revert wordpress to the original state?

    Hi Mixhael,

Sorry to read that, that's a weird behavior.

First of all try renaming the plugin directory using ftp or similar. That should disable it.
Then, if still having problems, get in touch with me by email with relevant info for me to help you.

    Hi antonioandra.de,
I have been experiencing the same problems as Mixhael.
I changed the name of plug-in holder. Nothing changed. I am not still able to admin log in, and worst of all no one is able to access to the website.
Please help as soon as possible!
