   I downloaded a theme from "topwpthemes" and when I try to put some images in a single post I can't see it on homepage... only if I visit the single post.

   what I need to edit?

   your index.php probably uses the_excerpt rather than the_content

   the_excerpt strips images, formatting, links, etc
