WordPress Multisite 3.42 and Buddypress 1.6 template default

Hello,
my names is Antonio. I have a site with WordPress Multisite 3.42 and Buddypress 1.6 default template. I have actived the plugin in “plugin network’s” and in “plugin blog’s”, where there are the custom fields of plugin. I have to do? Should I put some code in the template? How do I know if it works?
