  • Very easy actually.
    1) In current WPMU installation:
    – Backup Database AND server files/folders especially the blogs.dir folders (where media is uploaded)
    – Then export the respective XML’s of the main blog and sub-blogs.
    2) In new WP installation:
    – Create new Database (or drop old WPMU tables if you only have one database)
    – Upload and install your WP installation (delete all WPMU files and folders – except wp-contents with blogs.dir folder – if you’re installing in same directory)
    – Import each XML from your WPMU installation
Before that, you might want to create the users first so that it’s easier to assign the posts from XML import.
And, don’t forget to check the box on Attach Image/Media files in the panel that comes up when you import each XML

    Thanks mercime,

Really appreciate it. So one thing, if i have to create the users for them mean, they will lost their password ?

If they email/tell you their password beforehand, you can create the user and preferred password already. So when they log in, all’s well and done.
    Or,
When you create the user, create a new password, email to them and they can reset password in their user profile.
