WordPress makes me reset my password EVERY time I login (8 posts)

Every time I go to log in to my WordPress account I type in my username and password and it says my password is invalid.

So I reset my password, have a new one e-mailed to me and log in with it (no problems there) and then I go into my settings (as prompted) and change the password to one that I'll remember.

Problem is, the next time I go to sign in, it again does not accept the password I chose (or the password it reset it to for that matter) and I have to start over again.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Having the same issue. Would love a solution.

There are multiple threads from those of us who need help. Here's a connection to some of those threads.

ok. in the general settings the WordPress address (URL) needs to have not https:// ... it has to be http:// also you can try putting the www in front of the address and it will force it to destroy a rogue cookie if their is one

I had this same problem. My site url was set to www, but my WP address did not have the www. Changing the WP address to inlclude the www seems to have fixed the problem.
