I tried to log in to publish a time sensitive news story for my blog at http://stockstrategist.wordpress.com/ and got a message saying the username didn't exist and asked me if I wanted to register the username I have been using for about a year now!
So I registered my username again hoping it would link to my blog. It didn't work. Now I can't post my time sensitive news story AND can't find a WordPress "Help" chat, email address, or telephone number. All I can find is this forum.
Now, the news story is stale and worthless and I'm very frustrated!
Does anyone have any suggestions for talking to a real person at WordPress to resolve this bizarre problem?

WordPress is free software. There are no official support personnel that you can speak to.

Thanks for the reply and links, esmi. I thought there might be someone with access and the ability to link my username to the blog again. Wish I had the knowledge and time to figure out a way to fix this myself. I'm not a computer guy, only a user. I'll have to find a new site for my blog posts. eblogger has worked well for my other blog for several years. Thanks again, esmi.
