WordPress Loop and Order of Posts

    Does anyone know what value of the ‘Posts’ table does WordPress organize its articles. I would have thought it was post_id, but it is not. any help is appreciated

    What do you mean by “organize?”

    The default posts order is by its date, btw.

    thats sort of what I meant, I know that the newwest one posts on top of the loop, but was curious if I looked at the SQL database and looked right at the tables, what value would they be sorted by. I am assuming its the value of (post_date) but just wanted to make sure
