   Over the last few weeks I have been having issues with my wordpress site. When I try and login into my site, it doesn’t take me to the dashboard; it just goes to a white blank page.

   The only way I can login is by changing the name of the active theme via FTP and then it lets me login.

   What can do to solve this issue? Are there any tools to help?

   were there any files (i.e. functions.php) changed in your theme?

   I had installed BuddyPress which caused a few issues until I got rid of it. I may have changed something in the functions page a while ago. Could that be the problem?
