   Yesterday I installed a local version of WordPress on my Macbook using MAMP. I used this website:

   Everything was successful, and I now have an 'admin' account. But it is blank. I exported all the posts and comments, etc, etc from my original blog, but when I try to update or change a theme from the 'admin' account, it won't go. I even made my original blog an administrator to this new account.

   I can change the blog URL to my first blog's domain name, but when I try to change the wordpress address from http://localhost:8888/wordpress to the domain name, it doesn't work and I have to reinstall MAMP and wordpress all over again.

   Help!
