WordPress Install Error – missing email address

I’ve gone through the 5 minute install, when it comes to the install screen after putting in the blog title and my email address it goes to a screen that says ERROR: you must provide an email address. I assure I’ve typed in an email address, have even tried different ones and continue to get the same error. I’ve deleted everything even my database and started from scratch and still the same error. I’m just downloaded the latest version, I have MySQL database set up correctly and everything. Can anyone assist on what the problem might be?
