   I just installed wordpress in a subdomain (www.sub.mydomain.com) because I do not want to disturb a site I already have online. Once I get wordpress set up I want to to have it come up under my root directory (www.mydomain.com). Will this be super difficult? Should I have installed wordpress a different way?

   You'll have to either install WordPress in the root directory or follow this guide:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
