i am new at wordpress.
i would like to install wp at my root directory instead of in a subdirectory.
in STEP 4 is written :"In the Root Directory
■If you need to upload your files to your web server, use your favorite FTP client to upload all the contents of the wordpress directory (but not the directory itself) into the root directory of your web site. "
Does this mean only the yellow file 'wp-content' and not 'wp-admin' and 'wp-includes'??
i succeeded in installing wp in a subdirectory, but would like wp in my own domain: //example.com
anyone can help?

5.In the box for Blog address (URI): change the address to the new location, which should match the WordPress address (URI). "
if i understand right, i change both my wp address as my blog address to my domain //http://example.com
?
