    I wasn't aware it was a competition. ;)

It's nice and very cool and all, but I'm still not a big fan of flash. Especially not entire sites done in flash.

Those of us on dialup don't go there at all. No point - don't have an hour for the damn things to download....

Flash as a website interface is "pretty" for broadband users, but hell for dialup users. I prefer to stay away from it. Now, to contradict myself, my Gallery (SimpleViewer-powered) is Flash-based. But, it doesn't even come close to the complexity (and 56k load times) of a flash-based site.

yeah it was posted here a while back by the author, I do like it and I don't think there's anything particuarly wrong with using flash. broadband is certainly gaining pace due to be competitive with dial up so I don't really consider dial up users in all honesty. I guess it's the target audience that matters, and if you're offering your services in the form of a portfolio then most businesses you're after will not be on 56k but on broadband.

At least it's different, which makes a change.

I'd like to add to my previous post that some Flash-based sites are works of art, and Similitude is no exception.

The website looks really nice but I really dislike how you have to scroll to see the rest of the posts.
