    Hello,

When I click the button to add a picture, video, music, or other media, nothing happens. I have posts that already have pictures in them, but when I click the button to edit them (When I hover over the picture, there's a delete button and an edit button), the screen darkens as usual but no dialog pops up. What's wrong? This is a serious problem to me! Please help!

Clear cache, history and cookies, restart browser, update flash.

Thanks for the prompt reply - will try those. Never thought to update flash. The weird thing is that I get the same results with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, AND Chrome...?

No good. Just updated flash and it doesn't do a thing - what next?

Dsiable Gears; and then check Settings > Miscellaneous to make sure "Store uploads in this folder" only has 'wp-content/uploads', with no other slashes/path.

    And read the sticky: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164999?replies=1

Just to make things clear: I can upload to wordpress just fine via the "Add Media" section on the sidebar: it's just when I click on any of the four buttons to add media on the "New post" or "New page", nothing happens at all.

Just upgraded it even though it said I had 2.8.4. No difference, the problems still there. Thanks so much for helping me, BTW!

Just checked to see if the problem reoccurs on other computers: it does. That means it isn't something wrong with just my computer...not good.

Fixed it! It was a problem with a plugin I was using.
