    Hi Futta,
Thanks for your great plugin. I looked for previous posts on my issue but was unable to find a solution for it where you’ve already addressed it.

AO breaks a plugin I use called Expander that uses jquery to create a show/hide link. Clicking on it shows text, clicking again hides it. I have also tested Collapse-o-Matic, which does the same thing, and I get the same results. The results of using AO together with one of these plugins is that what is supposed to be hidden before clicking is automatically showing and the link to activate it is no longer active.

This occurs when Javascript is selected to be optimized. I tried selecting the Javascript options you include to try to get a different result, but I get the same results. (I haven’t yet tried editing the actual plugin code to try your <!–/noptimize–> tag.)

An example of a page with lots of hide/show that it breaks is here, near the bottom under “More Information.” Unfortunately I can’t show you an example of it with these activated together because of the dependency I have on these working on the live site.

I’d love to be able to use your plugin, as it seems to make a wonderful difference, so any assistance is appreciated.

I think you’ll have to exclude jQuery and the JavaScript of expander from being optimized.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick response, Frank. I added WP Expander (“wpex”) to the exclusion list as well as selected ‘force javascript to <head>’, and these two together resolved the issue.

    Thanks again.
