• WordPress has redirected my domain, please bring it back:

There was a redirect from happybones.ca to happybones.wordpress.com. What happened then was all my email was sent to wordpress and the senders received a loop of mail delivery delay notifications. My email has been restored. But I still cannot edit my wordpress pages and others cannot access my web pages.

Many thanks if you can remedy this or advise me what to do.

  • If I’m understanding correctly, your site happybones.ca is redirecting to happybones.wordpress.com? If this is the case, can you at least login to the admin for happybones.ca? If so, your site address may be different than your WordPress address and you need to change this in the General Settings.

    been looking for the
    General Settings
    . . . in WordPress
can you tell me how to get there?

    tried from my WordPress dashboard
but do not see a path to
    General Settings

    . . . perhaps you mean some
    General Settings
    on another page?

    many thanks for your reply!

it may be that I need to go to
    admin for happybones.ca
    and find there a
    General Settings . . .
    will now try that

    thank you

On the left side of your wp-admin for happybones.ca (where you have Pages, Posts, etc.), there is a “Settings” tab toward the bottom. Click it and it will take you to the General Settings. Make sure that both the Site URL and WordPress URL are:

    http://happybones.ca
